John is happily married and a father of two beautiful children. He has shared-custody of his oldest from a previous marriage. It was during his separation from that marriage that he began to focus on his writing as both a means to distract himself and to express his emotions. In late-October 2008, he was setup on a blind-date by a close friend and met his current wife. They quickly fell in love, but wanted to take things slow; so they continued in the set directions of their lives, which distanced them into two different states. Although they spoke every day, it was during New Years--ringing in 2009--that they met again in New Orleans and discovered they no longer wanted to be apart from one another. They married on February 26, 2010 and have a daughter who was born premature in late-November that same year. John provides a unique perspective into the circumstances that can arise when raising a child in two homes, as well as the challenges it can present with creating a new home for his family. Follow him as he raises his son and makes room in their family for new arrivals.
